Unlike typical wireless systems on the market today, the Alexor has a control panel which is completely separate from the keypad, yet still wireless. Burglary and Fire Protection
The Alexor is not only used for burglary prevention, but fire as well. The system supports 32 wireless zones, 2 hardwired, and 16 wireless keys. This means you can protect your home with a variety of wireless sensors, indoor and outdoor motion detectors, plus wireless smoke, carbon-monoxide, and flood detectors. In addition, installers can program 16 user codes, 1 master code, and 1 maintenance code. There is also a 500 event buffer, 4 communication phone numbers which the panel can call, and a built-in panel siren that sounds 85 decibels. The Alexor can incorporate up to 4 wire-free keypads including a new table mount keypad. Plus, the system can also incorporate up to four sirens.
Programming is a Breeze
The wireless pairing process of the accessories and panel is quick and easy. That’s because there is wireless device enrollment and template programming. This means installers no longer need to manually program serial numbers or wireless information. Instead, a series of enrollment screens prompts installers to confirm electronic serial numbers, zone numbers, and zone types.
Back-up Communication
The Alexor also supports GSM and IP communications which can be used as an alternative to a traditional phone line. This way, even if your power goes out or your phone line is cut, you’ve got the back-up you need for the panel to still call out to your monitoring station. This is also ideal for those homeowners that rely on either Voice Over IP (VoIP) or mobile phones for their phone service.
